Tiffany Berrien

President, Founder and 12th grade coach

Coach Tiffany Berrien played all four years of varsity basketball along with three years on the varsity volleyball team. She received a basketball scholarship for Santa Fe Community College, in Gainesville, Florida. Upon graduating, Coach Berrien then transitioned to Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR, on a basketball scholarship.

After college, Tiffany played semi-pro for Tampa X Factor where she decided she wanted to give back to her community through her love of basketball. In 2013, she founded TB 21 Hoops Basketball Academy Incorporated in Lakeland, FL. Tiffany acts as the President and also the 10th grade head coach.

Through her organization, she gives back to the community by hosting free basketball camps, Spring Break tours, and many other community events. Additionally, Coach Berrien has volunteered helping children develop their basketball skills at the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and Simpson Park Rec Center. Currently Tiffany has volunteered with Polk County Schools as a middle school basketball coach. In 2018, she accomplished back-to-back Girls and Boys All County Championship wins.

Natalie Jones

Vice President

Natalie currently works as a Survey Project Analyst for Publix SuperMarkets.  Prior to this, Natalie had been with the City of Lakeland since 2009 as an HR Generalist and Specialist. She previously served the American Cancer Society in Talent and Development and was an HR Rep for the University of Central Florida   (her alma mater). Natalie has her Bachelors and Masters Degree from UCF. She is PHR and SHRM-CP certified.

Kimberly Berrien

Treasurer

Kimberly currently works as an Authorization Representative for Lakeland Regional Heath. She has been a part of the LRH team since 2003. Kimberly is further pursuing her education in Healthcare Administration at Polk State Community College. She is a certified licensed All-Lines Insurance Adjuster.

Amy Candlish

Director of Business Development

Amy has been with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office since 2003. She has served in several different capacities within the sheriff’s office. She currently works in the Child Protection Unit (CPU) as a Sheriff’s Service Officer (SSO) within the Special Victim’s Unit (SVU). She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Barry University.

Kimberly Pollan

Secretary & Photographer

Kim has been a teacher in public education since 2002 and is currently an Instructional Math Coach for Polk County Schools. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. She was a Mississippi High School All-Star in basketball and All-State Player and State Champion in Volleyball. Kim is a mother of two who enjoys running in her spare time.

Kendrick Stewart

Member-at-Large

Kendrick is currently the head football coach at Victory Christian Academy were he also serves as a physical education teacher. He will also be coaching JV basketball. He has been named coach of the year for the second consecutive season. Kendrick graduated from Florida State University with bachelors in sports management and a minor in business. He also played football under Coach Bobby Bowden for four years. He volunteers his time to give back to the community at different events and activities around the county. He is very involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His vision is to know Christ on a personal level and make Him known to everyone he comes in contact with.

Tony Pollan

Member-at-large & Website Manager

Tony is a father of 2 and a US Navy Submarine Veteran. He is an Occupation Health and Safety Professional. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Mississippi State University.

Tony has worked with non-profits in the past and enjoys helping organizations in the area of risk and liability mitigation. He is a avid sports fan and is passionate about mentoring young men, which made TB-21 Hoops a natural fit.

Erica Allen

Member-at-Large

Erica is currently a teacher at Lakeland Christian School serving students with learning disabilities.  Erica has worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice and the Polk County Sheriff’s office with at-risk youth for over 10 years.  Erica co-founded a not-for-profit organization to serve at-risk youth leaving juvenile programs.  Erica has served on the executive board for Heartland Crime Stoppers as well as Interact Alliance, formerly known as the Drug Prevention Resource Center.  Erica is a graduate of the University of South Florida and is a certified teacher in the state of Florida.
